STRETCHED COILS
Use advice for data set cradle to gate with options: A1, A2, A3, A4, C1, C2, C3, C4, D
Technical purpose of product or process "The mechanical properties of weldable hot-rolled coils, combined with a compact yet heavy packaging, facilitate storage in confined spaces. The special coil-on-coil processing ensures accurate and faster coil unwinding, giving considerable increases in output. The reduced number of daily changes results in fewer downtimes, less scrap and a higher level of safety in the workplace." "Stretched coil: Cross section range 6 = Ø = 20 mm Weight from 2 500 to 5 000 kg per coil Total wire length up to 22 000 m"
General comment on data set Data quality has been assessed and validated during data collection process. According to ISO 14040 and 14044, allocation is avoided whenever possible by dividing the system into sub-systems. According to EN:15804 the applied cut-off criterion for mass and energy flows is 1%.

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
